Sometimes the boiler itself works fine, yet the rooms never get warm enough. Radiators that stay cold at the bottom, some rooms hot while others are freezing, or gurgling sounds from the radiators all point to a problem with circulation or the pipework. However powerful your boiler is, if the heating system isn’t set up properly, you’ll burn more gas without ever getting your home as warm as you want.
What our radiator service includes:
- Bleeding and balancing: We release trapped air from the radiators, then adjust the valves on radiators near and far from the boiler in the right order so the whole system heats evenly.
- Circulation check: We make sure hot water moves freely through the manifold and pipework, and check filters for blockages.
- Thermostatic valve service: We check the valves that let you control the temperature room by room and replace them if needed.
- Radiator flushing: We clean out years of sludge and deposits with specialist equipment (carried out together with a full system flush).
