Annual boiler service

Boilers work almost non-stop, so over time dust, wear and deposits build up inside them. To stop your boiler from breaking down, burning more gas than it should or leaving you without heating in the middle of winter, it needs a preventive service at least once a year — ideally before the heating season. A timely service extends the life of the appliance and noticeably lowers your monthly gas bills.

What our service includes:

• Cleaning dust from the burner and the fan motor.
• Checking the air charge of the expansion vessel and topping it up to factory specification if needed.
• Testing the sensitivity of the heating and hot water sensors and the safety thermostats.
• Removing and cleaning the system filter (the strainers under the boiler).
• Adjusting the gas pressure and checking for possible gas or water leaks.
