Boiler pump and circulation service
Strong circulation and effective heat in every room
The circulation pump is the “heart” of your boiler, keeping heated water flowing continuously to the radiators or underfloor heating. If the boiler heats the water but the warmth never reaches your rooms, the boiler keeps switching on and off, or you hear an unusual humming, the pump or the circulation system is almost certainly at fault. A weak pump increases your gas consumption without actually warming the house.
Our pump and circulation services:
- Freeing a seized pump: In boilers that have stood idle for a long time (for example, over the summer), the pump impeller can seize. The technician frees it and gets it turning again.
- Speed setting: Setting the pump to the optimum speed (1, 2 or 3) for the size of your home and the number of radiators.
- Capacitor and motor check: Replacing the capacitor that causes the motor to lose power, or fitting a genuine new pump if the old one has burnt out.
- Clearing blockages: Cleaning the boiler’s internal filters to remove anything restricting circulation.
With a properly working pump, hot water reaches every radiator evenly and quickly, and your home is as comfortable as it can be.
