No hot water from your boiler? What to check first
If the taps run cold, there are a few simple checks you can make before calling a technician.
No hot water is the most common problem boiler owners face. Before you call us, check the following:
- Is there an error code on the boiler display?
- Is the pressure gauge between 1 and 2 bar?
- Is the gas valve open?
- Is hot water mode switched on?
If all of these look fine, the cause is most likely the flow sensor, the diverter valve or the heat exchanger. Leave these parts to a qualified technician.
